Training
There has been a good deal of training in the past couple of months.

General
There is still work to be done on the solar system as it occasionally drops out. The battery was tested today and appears to be fine. Steve H is working with the inverter company to solve the problem.
Another heads up that the current officers will retire at the end of this year. There has already been a couple of people suggesting that they will step up but there is still room to volunteer. Elections will be held in February next year.
Be aware that if you are the last person the leave you must turn off the power to the outlets and lock the gate. There have been a few recent incidents when this was not done.
Bill has place a new water bag in the hatch near the far field gate. Use this if there is a fire that needs to be doused.
EVENTS
The Tuesday float fly at Brown’s Ravine has been going well. Good turn out and lots of fun. Feel free to join in.
We are still planning a swap meet later in the year. Details later
There will be a swap meet at Ione on the 8th of August. In the past this has been a really good event.
